About this construction
Pattern & sewing notes
- The pencil skirt is the same pattern as the Skirt base block; only the zipper allowance can differ.
- Sew the waist darts first, then the side seams and the centre-back seam, leaving 18 cm open at the top for a zipper.
- Finish the waist with a waistband or a facing.
- Hem last, using the hem allowance printed on the pattern.
